About the Season of Sharing Fund
Since 1986, the Chronicle Season of Sharing Fund has raised more than $62 million to help our neighbors in the nine-county Bay Area. One hundred percent of the money raised goes directly to those who need it most. Each year, the fund resolves critical needs and housing assistance issues and provides thousands of emergency meals for people who might otherwise go hungry. A record $5.2 million as been raised this year for the 2007-08 Chronicle Season of Sharing Fund. Learn more.
